Description:

Overview: Join the growing corporate export compliance team of a Fortune 500 defense company as the lead contact for foreign suppliers. Great work environment with full management support- reports through Legal Department. Full relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities:

Manage export compliance relating to foreign suppliers

Work with the trade compliance team to support company-wide export controls program

Educate and train foreign suppliers on the issues of US export controls

Make commodity jurisdiction decisions

Classify products for export including ECCN determinations

Draft and submit export licenses (EAR and ITAR) in coordination with export team members

Work with Purchasing Department to coordinate with foreign suppliers

Manage the EAR and ITAR regulations

Manage TAA’s, MLA’s and technology transfers

Qualifications:

Experience working in a corporate export compliance environment

Experience with ITAR licensing required

Experience managing TAA’s and MLA’s

Strong presentation skills

Experience with design and technology transfers

Some foreign travel may be necessary

Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED
