Job Summary: Newly created role in a growing trade compliance department. The Import/Export Compliance Analyst will provide International Compliance support with regard to marking, classification, duties and FDA product coding as well as assisting in audits and various compliance projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the classification of import/export products

• Ensure FDA product code classifications

• Identify opportunities to utilize Preferential Duty Programs

• Determine documentation requirements

• Communicate pertinent product information to internal customers, as well as Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, and suppliers as needed

• Maintain tables and reports in the classification database to allow for thorough auditing of reports and entries sent to U.S. Customs

• Conduct pre-entry and post entry audits, resolve discrepancies

• Audit HTS & ECCN database to ensure accuracy of classifications

• Review and update Compliance polices and manuals as needed.

• Develop, maintain and deliver training on Trade Compliance topics as needed to internal and external partners.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Strong import/export classification experience essential

• Experience with FDA import requirements

• Experience with AES filings, Sanctioned party screening & antiboycott restrictions

• Experience with SAP systems

• Spanish/French a plus
