Description:

Overview: Join the trade compliance team of a strong industry leading Fortune 500 retailer. This is a great opportunity for a compliance professional with strong communication skills, experience dealing with suppliers and in classification. Fantastic fringe benefits and great work environment!

Location: Boston, MA area

Responsibilities:

• Serve as main contact with buying agents & foreign vendors on trade compliance

• Build and manage HTS classification database for imported products

• Assign HTS numbers to imported goods including textiles

• Assist in the development and updating of the corporate compliance manual

• Coordinate ISF (10+2) implementation

• Assist the manager in leading corporate trade compliance program

Qualifications:

• Experience in Import Compliance

• Strong HTS classification skills

• Knowledge of new ISF processes

• Experience working in a corporate trade compliance environment

• Communication skills essential

• Licensed Customs Broker required

• Bachelors degree preferred
