Job Summary: Establish and manager domestic and global Trade Compliance program

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise Company’s Import/Export Trade Compliance Program with direct reports in all company locations.

• Manage compliance with US Export and Import Regulations as dictated by US Departments of Commerce and State, CBP, and OGA as required both domestically and globally.

• Make certain of purpose/need of export licensing requirements, ECCN and deemed export compliance.

• Preserve a strong network of operational processes, export licensing, classifications; all deemed export compliance, export documentation, export/import violation and disclosure processes.

• Guarantee correct customs classification (HTS), each location’s use of duty free programs, i.e., NAFTA and broker management, FTZ.

• Top to bottom training of all personnel to procedures for import and export.

Facilitate and anticipate the need for export and import licenses

• Lead C-TPAT certification process to ensure certification

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of a BS/BA degree required- 5+ yrs experience (management)

Brokers License preferred

Extensive knowledge of US Customs Import/Export Regulations required.

Documentable ability to establish and manage a global organization.

Strong familiarity in the workable analysis and understanding of ITAR, EAR, NAFTA, C-TPAT including CBP regulations, Treasury sanction programs and the Bureau of Census, Foreign Trades Statistics Regulations (FTSR).

Documented ability to establish and manage a global organization.

Strong working knowledge of the US export regulations (licensing, classification

HTS, ECCN), deemed exports and technology data transfer
