Description:

Overview: Join the trade compliance team of an industry leading Fortune 500 manufacturer in a newly created export compliance position.

Location: Cleveland Ohio

Responsibilities:

-Make license determinations under the ITAR and EAR including EAR99

-Submit EEI/AES filings, review shipments for boycott and denied party screening

-Serve as main contact for ECCN classification decisions for exported products

-Assign HTS numbers to imported goods

-Participate in internal audits of export documents, processes and procedures

-Assist in the development and updating of the corporate compliance manual

-Develop and maintain ECCN export classification database

-Act in support of the compliance manager for both export and import compliance

Qualifications:

-Experience in EAR and ITAR licensing required

-Strong ECCN and HTS classification skills

-Experience working in a corporate trade compliance environment

-Knowledge of OFAC Sanctions, Anti-Boycott and DEA regulations

-Some knowledge of import compliance

-Experience with SAP helpful

-Bachelor’s degree required
